Short Film: The Squeeze
ESPN came to us with the opportunity to create co-branded long-form content. Before we started thinking of film ideas, it was important to think how we could add value to the Miller brand. Another writer, Sean Vij, and I decided to give the Miller tagline, “Good Call” a more substantial and emotional context by applauding guys not just for the beer they selected, but for the way they chose to live their lives. The rest was just a question of how to weave the Boston Red Sox into the story. This series of four ninety-second films won a bunch of stuff including a silver One Show Pencil.
